Hey there!

I'm Brazilian, over 50, and I live in São Paulo. My main roles in life are father, son, brother, uncle, husband, and friend. I have over 30 years of corporate career, most of it dedicated to commodities logistics and trading.

I genuinely like sharing what I know, and I like it even more when it lands somewhere useful. But I've been told I sometimes come across as professorial or opinionated. My mother has a kinder explanation: she says I have a teacher's bug inside me.

This is a rumblings blog. I write about things happening in my life that feel worth sharing — the odd, the uncomfortable, the occasionally funny. I also write about the internet, about posts from other authors that made me think, and about career transitions and how people navigate them.
